Salford’s Rawson, Kilpatrick Take On Southern Farm Show in Raleigh, NC

Salford Group territory sales manager Brian Rawson and U.S. Sales Director Lee Kilpatrick have Carolina in their minds as they head to Raleigh for the annual Southern Farm Show.

Held annually at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, this year’s event runs from February 3-5. The Southern Farm Show is the largest agricultural exposition in the Carolinas and Virginia. The 2016 exposition is expected to be the largest Southern Farm Show yet, with more than 400 manufacturers and service providers represented across equipment services, and technology geared to the agriculture sector. A fourth large exhibit tent has been added to the show that already fills the four major exhibit halls and acres of outdoor exhibits at the fairgrounds. The show also utilizes three other buildings for meetings, workshops, and special events.

The duo of Rawson and Kilpatrick will set up the Salford Group in booths 203/207, educating producers on the benefits of the Salford Group family of products—Salford tillage, planting, and seeding equipment, BBI’s lineup of precision broadcast spreaders, the Valmar lineup of precision application equipment, including planters, seeders, and pneumatic boom spreaders, and finally the AerWay group of advanced aeration and tillage products for farms and hay and pasture environments.

At this year’s Southern Farm Show, Rawson and Kilpatrick will feature a pair of industry-leading hydraulic spreaders from Salford BBI.  MagnaSpread is the company’s flagship lineup of precision applicators for fertilizer and lime distribution, available in a variety of hopper sizes aimed at serving every environment from small farms and golf courses to large-acreage farming operations.

Endurance is the company’s industry-leading lineup of spreaders geared for heavier spreading duties with organic materials, including litter, manure, compost, and beet lime. As with MagnaSpread, Endurance is available in a variety of hopper sizes and heavy duty packages that match up to conditions and terrain for farming operations of any size.

Both MagnaSpread and Endurance are optimized for precision agriculture with a pair of key features. Both models feature the ISOBUS-ready Binary Manifold for easy connections to almost every precision agriculture technology.  In addition to the Binary Manifold, each MagnaSpread and Endurance hydraulic model comes standard-equipped with Salford BBI’s proprietary Task Command System, a precision farming technology package powered by field guidance and variable-rate application capabilities.
