BBI Heads to the Buckeye State with Agro-Chem for Farm Science Review

BBI’s Gerry Winters takes the company’s trade show express to the Buckeye State for the 51st Farm Science Review with the company’s dealer partner for the area, Agro-Chem.

The premier ag show in the state of Ohio, Farm Science Review will take place September 17-19 at the Ohio State University’s Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio.

In its 31st yea at the Caren Agricultural Center, Farm Science Review is a production of the Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Farm Science Review annually attracts more than 140,000 attendees and features more than 4,000 product lines from more than 600 exhibitors in the agriculture market.

Farm Science Review dedicates more than 600 acres to demonstration of equipment ranging from combines to tillage, drainage installations, and nutrient and lime applications.

Gerry Winters, BBI’s territory sales manager for the northeastern United States and Canada, will be showcasing three lines of BBI’s spreaders for multiple dry applications at this year’s Farm Science Review.  Winters will join the sales and marketing team of Agro-Chem, a leading dealer of chemicals, fertilizer, and spraying and spreading equipment with locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois, in showcasing BBI’s spreaders at the Agro-Chem booth.

The Agro-Chem booth will feature one hydraulic line of fertilizer and lime spreaders, along with two lines of mechanical spreaders. MagnaSpread is BBI’s line of hydraulic granular fertilizer and lime spreaders optimized for precision agriculture with the company’s standard Binary Manifold, with single-axle, tandem-axle, pull-type, and truck-mount options available. The MagnaSpread line is optimized for a variety of farms, ranging from small ag & turf farms to large-acreage operations.

The MagnaSpread line features the recently-launched Producer Series, which features three new spreaders with an unprecedented combination of power, capacity, and efficiency.

Winters and Agro-Chem will also showcase Liberty and Grasshopper, mechanical lines from the BBI family. Liberty is a ground-wheel-drive, mechanical spreader optimized for medium-capacity jobs with a tandem axle.  Grasshopper is a single-axle, mechanical line with high clearance for mid-season top-dressing of plants.

“The Farm Science Review is one of the most respected events on the ag show circuit, and for good reason,” stated Winters. “The farmers in this area, no matter the size of their operations, demand cutting-edge equipment that will increase their bottom-line profitability. We are proud to participate in the 2013 Farm Science Review with our partners from Agro-Chem, one of the top dealers in the BBI global network. This is a company that latched on to precision agriculture needs as an early adopter, and their customers benefit from deep product knowledge and top-level service.”
