BBI Saddles Up for the 53rd Western Farm Show in KC

BBI Spreaders is once again proud to participate in the show that bills itself as “the Heart of Ag,” the Western Farm Show.

Held annually at the American Royal Complex in Kansas City, Missouri, the Western Farm Show attracts more than 500 exhibitors from every corner of the agriculture sector. This year’s show, the 53rd running of this Midwestern ag circuit institution, will take place February 21-23.

BBI is proud to join two of its strongest partners in the country, Brothers Equipment of Friend, Nebraska and Worthington Ag of Worthington, Missouri, in a celebration of the company’s recently-launched Producer Series.  BBI’s Producer Series is a formidable lineup of precision applicators of fertilizer, lime, and multiple micronutrients optimized for large-acreage farms.

Representing BBI at the Western Farm Show will be Denny McCauley, the company’s territory sales manager for the Midwest, and Russ McEver, head of after-market parts and electronics.  Joining McCauley and McEver from BBI’s Georgia headquarters will be company president Richard Hagler and Lee Kilpatrick, BBI’s director of sales and marketing.

For the 53rd Western Farm Show, BBI Spreaders will showcase all of the Producer Series, featuring MagnaSpread Ultra, MagnaSpread 2, and MagnaSpread 3.  With the advent of MagnaSpread Ultra, BBI’s engineering and design team has effectively created a new class of spreader, with an unprecedented combination of size, power, and precision. MagnaSpread Ultra features the company’s proprietary Continuous Duty Hydraulics, allowing for more time in the field during single runs, drastically reducing fuel costs and days in the field during the season.

MagnaSpread 2 and MagnaSpread 3, also built on the company’s standard-setting MagnaSpread hydraulic platform, are the company’s multi-hopper offerings.  Pairing two- and three-hopper large capacities, MagnaSpread 2 and MagnaSpread 3 enable sophisticated farmers to spread multiple nutrients with awesome precision, creating higher yields, reduced fuel and material waste, and greater bottom line profitability.

“We’ve been working with the Western Farm Show for over a decade now, and we count Kansas City as one of our top destinations on the ag circuit,” stated Lee Kilpatrick, Director of Sales and Marketing at BBI Spreaders.  “The show has improved with each passing year, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to educate area farmers on the options that they have in equipment that’s built to succeed in producer-level operations.  We’ve built a lot of mutual respect with the farming community in this area of the country. Special thanks go out to our friends at Brothers Equipment, a great new dealer in the BBI network, and our longstanding Missouri partners at Worthington Ag.”
