Mark Magee Joins Salford Group in New Application Specialist Role

Salford has created a new Application Specialist role to improve the customer experience of ag dealers, retailers and commercial applicators seeking Salford application tools. Salford has the widest range of dry fertilizer application equipment in the agricultural industry and is continuously developing new, cutting edge equipment. An Application Specialist is required to help this large and unique market segment to know, understand and keep up with Salford’s diverse product line. “The tillage and granular application market segments in the US corn belt have their own specific equipment requirements, requiring a high degree of specialization. Mark Magee, the new Salford Application Specialist, will use his industry knowledge and existing contacts to help support Salford territory sales managers in the US mid-west. Magee has built a career on lifelong involvement within the agriculture industry. Magee grew up working on the family farm and in his family’s custom farming business. He went on to manage the family farm and custom operations business for several years before completing a BS in Crop Science at the University of Illinois. Since earning his crop science, degree Magee has worked in several crop input and ag retail-related positions, including a technical sales position with Bayer Crop Science and a territory sales position with AGI/Junge Control.
