BBI, MULTIPLE DEALERS PREPARE FOR NATIONAL FARM MACHINERY SHOW
/The nation’s largest indoor farm show is coming soon, and BBI Spreaders will be there.
The 48th edition of the National Farm Machinery Show will take place February 13-16 in Louisville, Kentucky. Held annually at the Kentucky Exposition Center, the show draws over 300,000 attendees for exhibits from leading manufacturers of farm equipment, as well as companies in the farm services sector.
In addition to the National Farm Machinery Show, the four-day event also features the 45th running of the Championship Tractor Pull at Freedom Hall. The invitation-only pull features Pro Stocks, Super Stocks, Modified, and Alcohol Tractors, as well as two-wheel and four-wheel drive trucks with drivers competing for over $200,000 in prize money.
Scott Whitworth, driver of the BBI tractor, will compete in the Championship Tractor Pull’s Light Super-stock Division.
The show will feature multiple free seminars on a wide variety of topics, including market and weather strategies, new technologies, and equipment solutions, as well as emerging trends and forecasts.
BBI will take its sales leadership team to the National Farm Machinery Show, including Lee Kilpatrick, Director of Sales and Marketing, along with the company’s three regional sales managers, Dennis McCauley (Midwest and western United States), Gerry Winters (northeastern United States), and Randy Copeland (southeastern United States).
Russ McEver, recently tabbed to lead the company’s Parts and Aftermarket group, will also be in attendance.
Three of the company’s key dealer partners for the area will be joining BBI at the show: Leitchfield Truck and Trailer of Leitchfield, Kentucky, Agro Chem of Wabash, Indiana, and ag equipment sales division of Tennessee Farmer’s Cooperative of Nashville, Tennessee.
The 2013 show will feature four of BBI’s market-leading spreaders, including MagnaSpread, Endurance, Liberty, and Grasshopper. MagnaSpread is BBI’s flagship hydraulic spreader for large-scale, precision application of granular fertilizer and lime. Endurance is the company’s rugged hydraulic spreader for large-scale, precision application of litter and other organic materials. MagnaSpread and Endurance models feature BBI’s proprietary Binary Manifold, making connections to precision agriculture technology tools a snap.
Grasshopper is BBI’s mechanical, ground-wheel drive spreader for medium-capacity application of fertilizer and lime, optimized for row crops as well as sod and turf farms. Rounding out the National Farm Machinery Show lineup is Liberty, BBI’s tandem-axle, medium-capacity spreader that features a ground-wheel drive conveyor and hydraulic or PTO-driven spinners. Grasshopper and Liberty feature BBI’s exclusive spreader system, delivering wider, flatter, and more consistent spread patterns in the field.
