BBI Prepares for Special Farm Progress Show
/From President Richard Hagler to key leaders from the sales and marketing team, BBI Spreaders is preparing for what guarantees to be a very special Farm Progress Show for the company.
The 2013 Farm Progress Show, one of the largest agricultural trade shows in the country, will take place August 27-29 in Decatur, Illinois. Billed as “the nation’s greatest agricultural showcase,” the Farm Progress Show enjoys a long history as one of the Midwest’s top farming events.
Since its birth in 1953, Farm Progress has been the nation’s leading outdoor farm show, featuring an impressive array of vendors showcasing the most extensive state-of-the art information and cutting-edge technology available for today’s agricultural producers. The show features the country’s top agribusinesses, and manufacturers and suppliers at national level, as well as regional and local exhibitors.
For this year’s show, Richard Hagler, President of BBI Spreaders, will accompany Lee Kilpatrick, Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as other key members of the sales and marketing team to the event. Joining Hagler and Kilpatrick will be Denny McCauley, BBI’s territory sales manager for the Midwest and western United States, and Russ McEver, who heads the company’s after-market parts, service, and inside sales, and dealer support group.
Why is this year’s Farm Progress Show special for BBI? The company has a few surprises in store that will disrupt the dry applicator market as the agriculture industry now knows it. The company has spent the last couple of years designing and testing two new classes of spreaders it couples together as “The Producer Series,” aimed at delivering new industry standards for power, precision, and efficiency for large-acreage farm operations.
In addition to the coming Producer Series, the BBI Electronics division will unveil its inaugural product suite to support precision agriculture.
