BBI, SPREADER SPECIALTIES TEAM UP FOR INTERNATIONAL SUGARBEET SHOW

BBI Spreaders and one of its key dealers for the upper Midwest, Spreader Specialties, will feature at next week’s International Sugarbeet Institute and Trade Show (ISBI) in Fargo, North Dakota.

The Sugarbeet Show, held annually at the Fargodome, home of the University of North Dakota Bisons football team, is the country’s largest annual event focused specifically on the sugarbeet industry.  The ISBI event will take place March 13-14.

Spreader Specialties, led by Mike Olson, is an exclusive dealer of BBI spreaders equipment based in Austin, Minnesota. The company supplies spreaders for several markets, including farming, athletic facilities and golf courses, and road paving/infrastructure needs for municipalities and commercial developers.

Olson will join BBI’s Denny McCauley, territory sales manager for the Midwest and western United States, at the Sugarbeet Show.  Olson and McCauley will showcase a pair of BBI’s bestsellers in the northern plains market, MagnaSpread and Endurance.

The 16-foot MagnaSpread on display at the ISBI event represents BBI’s industry-leading line of hydraulic spreaders for granular fertilizer applications. MagnaSpread is optimized for precision farming, featuring BBI’s exclusive Binary Manifold, a variable-rate ready hydraulic manifold that makes connections to precision agriculture control systems a snap.  The option-rich MagnaSpread line is available in single-axle, tandem-axle, pull-type, truck-mount versions.

In addition to the 16-foot MagnaSpread, Olson and McCauley will also display a 22-foot Endurance model tailored specifically to lime applications for beet farms.  Like its cousin MagnaSpread, Endurance also features the ISOBUS-ready Binary Manifold for precision ag applications to improve the economic performance of farms at every level of profitability.

“We appreciate the opportunity to work again with Mike Olson and the team at Spreader Specialties for this year’s Sugarbeet Show,” stated McCauley.  “Spreader Specialties is without peers in its ongoing commitment to serving the needs of farmers in the Northern Plains, and sugarbeet farmers are no exception.  At BBI, we show our commitment to specialty markets time and again, through designing products to meet their unique demands in the field.  This commitment has been proven through developing farm equipment tailored to the needs of specialty markets from grape growers in California to sugarbeet farmers in the Dakotas.”

“Our team is looking forward to working with BBI for the Sugarbeet Show in Fargo,” stated Olson.  “Whenever people ask us why we’re an exclusive dealer of BBI Spreaders, I tell them that in my nearly three decades of working in farm equipment, I haven’t seen a company provide a greater value and return on investment than BBI.”
